Run 79 is the legal title given to both this store and to Glenmore Station, a merino property bordering Lake Tekapo and producing wool for these garments.

The Murray family, who are the fourth generation to own Glenmore station, opened the store in November of 2000. They, with their friendly and efficient staff, are able to provide both an excellent service and an outstanding range of quality garments.

Run 79 differentiates itself from tourist's shops by stocking fine classical high quality brands of Merino knitwear for both local and overseas markets. It is situated on the main street of the beautiful alpine village, Lake Tekapo, which is on the Main Highway between Christchurch / Mt Cook / Queenstown.
